Fill a Stocking for a Teen
UPDATE: Our final numbers are in for 2023. Thanks to all of you we filled 1,437 stocking for teens. Thank you!
Many places provide toys for children under 12 but there is not much available to teens. Families in need that come to pick up toys for their kids often leave with nothing for teens 12 years and up. We need your help with this. These stockings will be going to teens in foster care, group homes, shelters and underprivileged teens.
Last year, we provide over 1,000 of these filled stockings to teens all over the valley. We have requests for even more this year. Please consider helping!
Cultivate Goodness has the stockings, we need help filling them!
You can sponsor a complete stocking and tie the items up in a grocery bag or donate individual items. Don’t have time to run to the store? You can donate funds and we will go shopping for you!
Here’s what goes inside:
- Candy Bar
- Gum
- Beef Jerky
- Chocolate Santa or Christmas themed candy
- 2 prepackaged snacks-individual bags of Goldfish crackers, Cheez-Its, fruit snacks, etc.
- Microwave popcorn
- Trail mix
- Pringles or Lay’s STAX
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- $10.00 gift card to either Walmart, or a fast food place.
All items are due no later than Monday December 11th. The earlier the better! Place all items in a tied grocery store plastic bag and drop off at any of our drop off locations or any of our amazing partners listed below.
